Mike Skibra is a former school teacher who started in this industry back in 1982 when he was hired as the technical support manager and trainer for the Apple representative in the NYC area.  His involvement with digital video started in 1986 when Truevision, then known as AT&T EPIC, started working with Mike’s company. Mike later joined Truevision to head up its first international office, rand later eturned to the US. After subsequent positions with an international distributor, an SGI reseller and Truevision (again), Mike started his own company to find the best in international technology and bring their products to the Western Hemisphere. He pioneered CFE’s Gallea, the first uncompressed desktop solution for the Mac and PC, and helped introduce Digital Voodoo and later Blackmagic Design. Mike’s company, Digital Marketing International, represents a number of different products that focus exclusively on digital video and broadcast markets. His has been Softron’s representative in North and South America since April 2007. He has demonstrated Softron products at numerous tradeshows, reseller events, seminars and to many prospective clients. He has written numerous white papers about the use of the products and is the main point of contact in the Western hemisphere for all things Softron.
