He is an active member of The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Broadcast Technology Society (IEEE BTS) and the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques (ACM SIGGRAPH).
