While finishing school and shortly after graduation, Jared Picune became fluent with Avid, Media 100 and Discreet Edit non-linear editing systems as a free lancer. His professional experience includes full-time staff work with a multimedia firm where he created projects with Discreet Edit, After Effects and Sonic Solutions DVD Creator. He also worked full time with a Denver motion graphics and animation firm. But his true passion was editing, and that led to the creation of Idea Spring Editing, a post-production boutique at The Ogden House in Denver. After researching the industry, Jared settled on the uncompressed Mac-based Final Cut Pro system for his company, and his clients. "Final Cut Pro allows me to contain costs," Jared points out. "I can produce a product for my clients that looks as good or better than video completed on far more expensive systems."
