Robert Longwell has over 15 years of AVID experience and has worked professionally in video since 1992. He has been using computers for over two decades and knows the Mac quite well. In 2004, he switched to Final Cut and now administers six HD Final Cut bays that are attached by Apple Xsan. When I asked him to describe what he does, Robert said, 'The facility I designed and built encodes and distributes more than 600 files per day in a fully automated workflow.' What are these 600 files a day? If I told you, as I said, I'd have to kill you and that wouldn't be too nice now, would it? So let's just say that the answers Robert gives are worth listening to."
