Tim grew up in the Midwest, with stops in Iowa, Kansas, and Minnesota before the family headed west to Arizona.
Needing a way to 'vent' some creativity, Tim and a group of buddies
began submitting song parodies to KZZP Radio in Phoenix in the late
1980's. After serving a church mission in Mexico City, Tim went on to
Brigham Young University to become a television sports anchor. He
quickly found out he had the face for radio (as demonstrated,) and the
voice for closed-captioning. His focus switched to production behind
the camera.
The last thirteen years have included moves to the Boston area, Arizona
and Utah. He has been blessed with a couple of Rocky Mountain Emmy
Awards (Promotion), a Telly Award (Animation), and Utah Broadcaster
Awards.
He currently works for KUTV 2 News (CBS) in Salt Lake City. His main
duties are to create motion graphics for station and news promotion,
and on-line finishing of promotional spots. The tools in use include
After Effects, Photoshop, Lightwave, and VT[3].
He and his wife, Alicia, are the proud parents of five daughters who, thankfully, look like their mom.
