Jason Howard is a full time hacker, part time philosopher, and part time human. When he isn't goofing off, he works as a programmer and partner in a Linux media software company called SpectSoft.
Jason spends most of his time trying to figure out new things to do with the Linux computer operating system and video; how to push it farther into the media realm than it has ever gone before (well, outside of ILM that is). His interests include Linux (Duh?), video & film (Double Duh?), video compression techniques, color spaces, embedded programming, low level programming, and staring at color bars for hours.
