From
a very young age I've been fascinated, and shocked, by how reality
changes the world when composed through a lens and microphone.
That fascination has led to a career in production from work as audio
engineer to camera operator. Education came not only from American
Universities, where I've earned degrees in Electronics Engineering and
English Literature/Linguistics, but more practically as a studio and
field engineer with American Broadcasting Corporation.
A long adherent to the belief that television is best when live, I've
had the opportunity to be assigned to work as camera operator on live
programs for Phil Donahue, Oprah Winfrey, the US Olympics, Good Morning
America, World News Tonight, Nightline, and countless sports events.
I've also represented ABC as a judge at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Beyond the world of broadcasting, I've supervised many complete
productions from concept to delivery for corporations, municipalities
and national/international political interests.
Currently I run werks.tv, a digital video/audio production company in Elgin, Illinois.
