I
first got into After Effects while taking a course in which making a
short film was part of the examination. It seemed like a great program
and after stumbling on a tutorial on how to make a Star Wars
text-scroll by Brian Maffitt, I was hooked.
Right now
I'm finishing up the last parts for my degree, but unfortunately that
has nothing to do with After Effects and only very little with
video.Hopefully I can still get a job that at least has something to do
with video.
My spare time is generally spent at the gym. It's not helping much, but
if I stop I suppose I'll find out what it's keeping away.
In this tutorial, Emanuel Eriksson uses masks and Particle Playground in After Effects to demonstrate how to blow a text, or any object for that matter, off the screen as if it was made up by small grains of sand.
