Gabriele de Simone is Noise Industries' founder and lead software engineer. Since the company's inception in 2004, Gabriele has brought Noise Industries' innovative visual effects software to Apple Final Cut Studio, Avid Xpress and Media Composer editing products. By leveraging the modern graphics technologies found in Mac OS X, Noise Industries ships the only software of its kind that lets end-users customize and create visual effects plug-ins without writing a single line of code.
Before joining the video industry, Gabriele worked on metadata management software with Bruce Horn, creator of the original Finder and Mac desktop experience.
Born in the Gulf of Naples, Italy, Gabriele earned a M.A. and B.A. in Computer Science from Boston University.
