DONALD BERUBE (Director of Photography) has two decades worth of film, sound and video production experience in the Boston market and across the globe. Donald has also recently appeared in Film & Video Magazine to address the topic of calibrating multiple XL1 cameras while on location. Donald's most recent project was collaborating with his brother Daniel and noisybrain. associate Writer/ Director Paul Michaels on a 24P DV short entitled "Full Service", which was recently shown at the 2003 LA DV Film Festival in Los Angeles. Donald and Daniel are currently producing an interactive DVD for Focus Enhancements on the FireSore FS-3 DTE Disk Recorder. Donald and Daniel are also collaborating with Boston Camera Rental to produce a 24P short film using the new P+S TECHNIK PRO35 Digital Adaptor. Another upcoming noisybrain. collaborative project includes an interactive DVD on the story of FORMATT FILTERS for BOGEN IMAGING USA. Donald also recently traveled around the US with his brother Daniel to produce, shoot, edit and encode over 70 video segments for Canon USA's "Digital Workflow" CD-ROM, a Flash-based interactive CD-ROM which details the Digital Workflow of eleven of Canon's prominent "Explorers Of Light" digital photographers such as Greg Gorman, George Lepp, Barbara Bordnick, Michel Tcherevkoff, James Nachtwey, Rod Evans, Dennis Reggie, Stephen Wilkes, Seth Resnick, Rick Billings and Scott Alexander. Some past projects include "Exclusive", a 5-minute DV short sponsored by Canon USA and various third-party vendors (Century Precision Optics, Manfrotto and Tiffen to name a few); "Bosko", a documentary short on Polynesian culture produced in collaboration with Temple Dog Productions for San Diego's Annual Tiki Symposium and for KPBS-TV San Diego, CA; "In the Room with Jim", an inspiring documentary on Jim Infantino, a popular Progressive Folk Rock musician, poet and award-winning Flash/ Shockwave artist; "Poetry Slam", a perspective on the 2000 National SlamAmerica Poetry Tour Finals and the emergence of poetry artists in the New England area; and several long-form documentaries which he is lending his camera and lighting skills, utilizing DVCAM, DVCPRO50 and HDTV cameras.
