I’m a son, brother, husband and I hope to be a dad some day in the near
future. I play drums for the worship service at our church; I have a
gold belt in Tae Kuan Do and love sparring, oh ya! I’m going blind
because I love motion Graphics and I’m too stupid to stand up every
couple of hours to circulate blood and focus on something far away.
I
have been freelancing since April 2002, which was a scary first step.
The latest was at The Discovery Channel. I’ve already done the starving
musician gig so I figure I’ve got a head start on the starving artist
market. So far the mortgage is getting paid.
I
love this stuff and have fun doing it. I was amazed to find that so
many people are so willing to help and supply free resources to this
community, that I decided to do it too. Enjoy!
In this article, CreativeCOW.net contributing editor Doug Bassett reviews C4D 9.5: Real-World 3D Animation Production, by Larry Mitchell and published by Charles River Media; 1 edition; copyright (January 5, 2006), 432 pages; ISBN: 1584504374 and writes... ''If I had to tell you about this book in one sentence it would be that this book is the extension of the C4D Quick Start manual. You will learn much more about the 'how to' than the Quick Start and like the Quick Start, you will not get an explanation of the tools or why something works the way it does, but you will remain focused on the 'how to' and the project goal.''
Recently Doug Bassett was working on a promo and tried to follow Fred Lewis' connection scripts but couldn't follow the math. In this article, Doug demonstrates a new approach which uses expressions but without the math...and he finished the promo in a minimal amount of time.
